ENTRY FEE
- If you submit 1 – 5 poems – 5 $ per poem
- If you submit 6-10 poems – 3 $ per poem
- If you submit 11 & more poems – 2 $ per poem
Entrants have to select one of the above options and submit each entry separately.
All entries must be submitted to the Poetry Tournament e-mail account poetrytournament@gmail.com
Our online payments are secure and handled by PayPal. When you send us your poems by e-mail, we will send a PayPal invoice with the respective amount to your e-mail address.
Every invoice that is sent out includes an online payment button. Entrants do not need a PayPal account to make the payment. They can pay via PayPal, bank account or card. All major credit and debit cards will be accepted.
In case you use a pen name and it differs from your PayPal name, please include the PayPal name on your e–mail.
ENTRY FORMAT
All entries must be in English.
Entries must show no name, address or identifying marks other than the title. The identifying information must be in the body of the email.
The file name of all entries must be the title of the entry and it must be either a .doc, .docx, .rtf, .pdf or .txt file.
Entries will not returned, so keep a copy.
No amendments can be made after submitting entries, nor any substitutions. If entrants would like to correct errors they must submit a new entry, marked ‘Final Version’ on the title page, and enter again with payment of the entry fee. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into with respect to amendments.
ENTRY RECEIPT CONFIRMATION
All entries will be confirmed by e-mail with the PayPal invoice so entrants can make the payment as well as an e-mail confirming the receipt of your payment to PayPal.
Receipt of entries cannot be confirmed by phone or email.
COPYRIGHT
Copyright of each entry remains with the author worldwide, but WeArtFriends will have the unrestricted right to publish the winning poems, (incl. runners up), in the WeArtFriends anthology and any relevant promotional material.
Entrants not selected for prizes or shortlisted are free to submit poems entered into the Poetry Tournament for consideration elsewhere (i.e. to other competitions or for publication) after 19th July 2018.
RESULTS
Results will be announced on 19th July 2018.
Prize-winners and runners up will be notified by 19th July 2018.
